*Update May 12th*

Wow, it is hard to believe but we (along with Susan, Dan, Colin and Michelle!) leave one week from TODAY!  Only 12 days left until the Wedding! Thanks to everyone for hanging in there - we're almost there! ;)  

We plan on getting together a brief list of things to bring/pack, etc. and hope to send an email to all of you within the week.  If you do not receive our emails, please let us know via the "Contact Us" section so that we can get you that list!  

Also - as a reminder - you can go to www.vallarta-adventures.com and receive a 15% discount on excursions through Vallarta Adventures simply by entering the code "wedding".  Some guests have been inquiring about this, so we wanted to add it in closer to the top of the page so it's easier to find.

**UPDATE May 5th**

 Good news - According to CNN.com, yesterday Mexico lowered its National Health alert from a Red ("high") to an Orange ("Elevated").  The situation is Mexico certainly appears to be stabilizing.  We continue to send our prayers and good thoughts to the Mexican citizens (including several close friends of ours) as they continue work through this tumultuous time.   

Also, Jaime "passed" her doctor's visit yesterday with the "OK" to go to Mexico ~ the doctor gave her an Rx for Tamiflu (just in case or for preventative measures).  She will begin antibiotic treatment after we return from our Honeymoon on June 5th! 

Operation "P.V. - Rain or Swine" is definitely a GO!!!

So, pack your bags!  We'll see you SOON in Mexico!

And a big "GRACIAS!" to all who have helped in channeling positive energy as well as those who have sent encouraging and inspiring emails, phone calls, etc. It has been wonderful to experience your outpourings of support!  We are once again reminded of what wonderful friends and family we have, and truly look forward to spending an incredible weekend with you all in the lush, tropical paradise of Puerto Vallarta! :)

***UPDATE APRIL 30th***

 We wanted to let you all know that as far as we're concerned, the wedding is still ON!
Operation P.V. is a GO!

~We sent out an email on Monday night, if you did not receive it please let us know and we'll be happy to forward it onto you! ~

  We are monitoring the situation closely, however it does NOT
look like they will ban travel to Mexico or close the borders.

As President Obama said, "This is a cause for concern...NOT PANIC!  Closing the borders now would be like closing the barn gate after the horse has already escaped"

We are currently working on a Visionary Board, full of beautiful pictures of our hotel, Las Caletas, the beach and sun, Puerto Vallarta, and pictures of each and every one of you who have booked!  We're currently setting them up in a Word Doc. and will send you each a copy.  We hope it inspires you as it has us.

We hope to see you all in Puerto Vallarta on May 24th!

REMINDER: If you have not already gotten your PASSPORT please do so ASAP or you may lose your trip!  We would recommend going ahead and expediting to ensure you receive it in time for your departure.  There will be NO exceptions at the gate!

Hi everyone - well, first off we are very pleased at the number of RSVPs so far - we're almost at the 25 mark!  We just wanted to pass on a friendly reminder if you have RSVP'ed to please go ahead and place your room deposit ($100 per person) asap since Memorial Day Weekend is likely to fill up quick!  And we also wanted to remind everyone that Monday May 25th is a holiday so it's a "freebie" for most people in regards to taking off work/school!
